4.5 weeks post-op still swelling Ouch!

Been out shopping and goofing off for first time today from 12 noon to 8 PM.  I tried on jeans and stuff in sizes I would never had dreamed I could ever wear again in my life time.  I had a ball especially seeing the look in my husband's eyes everytime I stepped out of dressing room.  It really was alot of fun.  I am paying the price for today escapades now lol.

I picked out a pair of low rise size 14 western riding jeans (stretch of course lol) extra tall and Wow they fit without a clitch.  Heck just 2 weeks ago I went shopping for an hour and got into size 16 low rise. 

OK, I am home now.  Have not taken pain meds since yesterday evening and OMG, I am swollen worse that I have been since home from hospital.  The pressure is awlful.  I just took 2 percocets and switched from garment to binder and drank a protein shake and trying to drink a couple bottles of water so I will get rid of most of this by morning. 

I guess I am normal, no swelling when I woke up but this PM is horrible but today was longest I stayed out playing.  I think it was worth it anyhow and I needed it.  

I am in my recliner feet up waiting for pain meds to kick in so I can relax.

Congratulations on a great shopping trip.  You must have felt fabulous putting on a smaller size jeans.  You go girl!!  :)

Carla, sounds like you had fun with your day of shopping.  Sorry 'bout the ouch.  Hope it has gone away.

I can't believe how much I swelled but I have read that early post-op you will swell with too much activity and I guess I just played too long lol.
