Should I stay overnight after Tummy Tuck? Are they trying to get more money?
Just want to say you are absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations on your weight loss. I am getting an extended tummy tuck and breast lift with implants in November, and will be staying overnight at the hospital.
I would stay if you can swing it. If for nothing else than a little extra rest, and getting the nurses to teach you and husband how to best care for your drains etc. when you do get home.
Best wishes

What I've learned the most through weight loss and plastic surgery is everyone is different. For me, I had a TT and went home the same day. I did go home with a pain pump that lasted 3 days and then I had pain pills to take after that. I was 58 when I had the TT. I had no problems with pain or the recovery. I had someone stay with me the first night and after that I was on my own. My suggestion would be to get in the best shape you can - exercise those core muscles. Good luck.
