Oregon Provider who accepts Care Credit??

I am looking for a few providers in Oregon that accept Care Credit so that I can set up consults for a BL/BA.

I've seen Dr. Jewell and really like him but he is very expensive :(.  And he waits 6 months between the 2 procedures.  Have any of you done the BL and waited to do BA?  Maybe I'm just too impatient and it really is a good idea.  I would rather do it at once if feasible.

If you have someone you can recommend, I would soooo much appreciate it ;).

I can't help you with a surgeon but I was wondering what is Care Credit and how do you apply for it?

Thanks Julie

Care Credit is a credit card that can be used for PS or other medical related charges.  It's fairly easy to qualify for but not everyone accepts it and there are various payment options.  It can also be used for vision, dental and even veterinarians :).

Thanks so much for responding. Where do you apply for Care Credit? Is the interest rate pretty low? Thanks Again

If you are willing to travel a little, I have a suggestion.  In mid April, I had a BL/BA and tummy tuck with muscle repair done in Medford.  Dr. Brian Kruel performed the surgery and I think he takes Care Credit.  You could call him to make sure.  He is fairly new to the area and his results are excellent.  I was so impressed, I had the thigh lift/liposuction to the saddle bags in mid July.  His prices are reasonable and his entire staff is extremely professional.  He is very well trained on the latest techniques and knowedgable about what you are looking for.  Couldn't recommend him enough.  I have gone to Portland for other procedures but am glad I found him here.

In reply to M.S. Lisa...you would have to contact him to find out what he accepts.  It depends on what you want to have done and what you want to combine.  I had the BL/BA & extended tummy tuck with muscle repair done at once.   Was about $9K or $10K, Ithink (can't exactly remember).  For the same procedure, others quoted me between $12-$16 in this area.  I had the LBL & lipo on outer thighs in July for about $3-4K less than others either in-state or out of state.  I am supposed to have the arms (brachioplasty) and inner thigh lift done at the same time in 2-3 months.  What I liked, in addtion to his ultra-new and clean surgical suite was that he did the procedure without general anesthesia..used local and twilight sleep type so that when I woke up, felt ok, not groggy.  He is very thorough making sure your labs are good and you are in generally good health.  I have had consults in Phoenix, AZ & Dallas, TX as well as Portland.  Still very satisfied with his results and pricing.  He is also very comfortable with operating on massive weight loss patients, which some I consulted are not.

I am 3 weeks out from a tummy tuck at the Waldorf Center in Portland area. Mine was done by Dr. Obrien and I know they offered care credit. I had a very large cyst removal done by my GYN first. Luckily that was benign. I am very happy with results so far and loved her attention to detail. My total out of pocket was $4900 for Waldorf center and then another $1700 for the extra hospital or room time and anesthesia I chose not to fight the insurance and paid out of pocket.
