Capsular contracture and singulair

I have been diagnosed with capsular contracture after my implants. I was wondering if anyone was given the same medication to soften the capsule. I was told 10mg of singulair daily. Is it ok for us after rny?

I don't think the medication will irritate your stomach or cause problems with acid but the real issue is how effective it will be in revering the contracture.  I tried it in some of my patients and have not had any luck with it.  Also, be sure and see if your doctor recommends have your liver function tested a there are rare side effects there.
