I think it's pretty common, actually....

I'm sure it has to do with nerves being cut. He did tell me it can take months for sensitivity to come back. Oddly, I don't hadn't have numbness any more in my arms or breasts - it's just some of the areas from my navel to my hips.

Mine is still numb as well. I had mine in February 2019 and I still have very little feeling in my stomach area. Doc said it probably will not return. Still would not change decision to have it done.

Thank you. Is the area that lost sensation just around the scar? or is it larger than that?

Hello

i am most definitely too late to way in but I did want to share this experience. I have had a C SECTION & total abdominal hysterectomy. I do not have any sensation from my waist right down to my incision. Does it bother me? Not at all.

I am having abdominal plasty three weeks from today. Lost over 130 pounds and I can't wait to finally have the surgery. The entire area that is currently numb will be gone. I'm really not too worried about any loss of sensation post tummy tuck.
Have you had your surgery?

sincerely

I hope your surgery went well! It's around the time and I hope you are on the mend.

I havent had surgery yet, just going over questions from things I've read from others.
