Good Monday Morning Everyone,

Hopefully we will get some relief from our extreme Texas heat this week.    As we all know this is a " Grateful Post".   We ALL have so much in our lives to be grateful for...no matter how small they may be or seem.    I have so very much in my life to be grateful for just thinking about it makes my head spin sometimes.   LOL   Today I am so grateful for my WLS.   I had gotten so large that I thought that there was NO hope for me every looking normal or half way normal.     Thank GOD for my friend Virginia who had WLS a year before I did and told me about it.   If she had not urged me and kept on at me about it....I would probably weigh over 300 lbs by now.    Grateful for all the choices for WLS today.   BTW...they ALL work...you just have to work them the way they were designed and not stray from what you are educated to do.    Grateful for second chances for us and for family members.   Grateful for my Faith and answered prayers in my life.   Grateful for my husband and 3 sons.    Grateful for this website and for the upcoming OH Conference in New Orleans, La.   It is coming up in  2 weeks !!!  Not too late to attend.     Think about it !!!   Hope to meet you there.   Have a blessed day and PLEASE share with us what you are grateful for today.

 Hi Katie,

I have a feeling that the inactivity has made others go from this message board over to maybe the lap band board.   They are pretty active there.    I know....sometimes there is a few others posting here but not many.   Usually it is Tom, Kim H, and myself.    Trust me....there IS still LOTS of support on OH.  Hopefully some of the other people will come back to this board.   Sometimes I feel as though I dominate this board and I didn't even have realize band.     Have a blessed day.

AMEN!! Glad you are doing better Shelly! Prayer IS amazing! Praise God. I am still glad you went to get it checked out, though. Like Tom said, you are worth more than your car and you would get that checked if you thought something was not running properly, right??
