That is great Tom! Now that I know how long it is that gives me incentive to walk it. I have noticed I am no longer in pain when I walk long distances, so I am looking forward to See Vegas (again) and this time more comfortably. Luckily we will be with family so I do not have to try to navigate my way through restaurants and buffets. Tom, how did you do it?? Please tell me ..I am nervous , a little...will be there from July 1 to 15.

I am happy for you. I bought one the other day at Sam's Club, because the other one I had was WAAAAAY too big. Well, I brought it home and realized I needed a BIGGER size(one size bigger)..but, that 's ok. I need it cuz my husband and I are going to Vegas to see his family on July1st for 2 weeks.
But enough about me. That is very cool Chelsea, and I feel the same, waiting for things to be too big.

I absolutely agree with the others, don't hesitate, immediately get in touch with your surgeon you could have a slip or who knows what else.Vomitting is never good with the band and to do it 3x in one day is for sure not a good sign. Please get it checked ASAP!

Chelsea, that is awesome to hear.  Doesn't that make you feel great.  You may not wear it too long before you have to purchase another one that fits better.  I believe the feeling that you are experiencing with the suit is one of the wonderful benefits of the surgery.  The health benefits are wonderful too, but just feeling like "normal" people, if there is any normal in this wold, and being able to buy clothes off the rack is a great feeling.  Again, congrats.

Okay so I live in a small town where nothing interesting ever happens. Well, we just got a new WALMART(we already had one but they built a new super center) and of course I just HAD to go on the first day it was open. But boy am I glad I did!! I had seen a bathing suit top at a different walmart that I fell in love with but didn't have my size. Actually, even if they did have it I've NEVER been able to wear bathing suits from there because of the way I am built, I wear the same size in their clothes but the bathing suits never fit. So anyway, I bought it. I figured I would be able to wear it about 25 pounds from now so I should get to use it before the end of summer.

But guess what!!!!!!! I got it home and put it on and............................

IT FITS!!!! =)=)=)=)=)=)

I'm soooo excited!! So I guess it was meant to be for me to go today, because it was the last one they had!! =)

Okay sorry just HAD to share. And as much as I wanted it, now I'm so ready for it to be TOO BIG!!! Lol

Topic: RE: Almost 1 week out
Thanks Tom! I ended up emailing the coordinator last night because my pain was getting worse but I wasn't worried enough to bother her at home. She emailed me back this morning and said it sounds like healing muscle and to try using an abdominal binder to ease the pain when moving around since that's usually when it happens. I was more active yesterday that I have been so I believe that's what led to the increased pain last night.

Anyway, on a SUPER happy note...I am 1 week out and 25 pounds lighter!! YAY!! Including 17 pounds lost during pre-op diet of course. =)

Topic: WEDNESDAY GRATEFUL POST
  Morning Everyone,

Hope everyone is having a fantastic week.    Can't believe that it is half over already.   This post is one to remind us of all the things in our lives no matter how large or how small to be grateful for.   We ALL have something to be grateful for.    Sometimes life doesn't go as we planned it but hey....that is life.   We have to just accept things....pick up the pieces and keep moving toward our life's goals.   PLEASE share with us if you wish what you are grateful for today.   Today I am SO grateful for Obesity Help.    Without OH I would truly be lost everyday.   I have been on this website for over 6 years now.    I first learned about OH at my surgeon's seminar before my WLS and immediately went there and started reading and researching.    I have met many many wonderful lifelong friends on here and about 3 years ago I became a OH Support Group Leader.    OH is a wonderful place and a great place to come when it seems like your family doesn't understand what you are going through.   There is always someone on OH ready and willing to give you advice and suggestions to make your WL journey easier.    I have attended 3 OH Conferences and about to attend #4 in Sept.   It is in New Orleans, La.    It should be as awesome as they all are.   If you have never gone to one you might want to consider it.   They are AMAZING !!!!   Have a blessed day.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE;   COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN;  AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!!    THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.
