Everything will go well. It is normal to be nervous about surgery. My doctor always told me that if I was not nervous, he would think something was wrong with me. LOL. Let us know how everything goes. Take care Chelsea.

I love this site. I attend a WLS support group once a month, but this site helps me out tremendously. Everyone is wonderful and supportive. I recently had my realize band operation in May of this year. I am still a newbie. Hopefully you can provide just as much information and support to me and to others just going through with WLS especially the realize band. I look forward to talking with you.

I have not been on the internet for a few days. I am sorry about the Joplin tornado and how it affected you directly. Like Tom said, when you do have the surgery is exactly when you are supposed to have the surgery. You and your family are in my prayers and please keep us all posted. We care and we are here for you, whatever you need!

HELLO EVERYONE I AM NEW TO THIS WEBSITE AND JUST LOOKING TO SOME PEOPLE TO TALK TO THAT KNOWS WHAT IM GOING THROUGH. I HAD MY REALIZE BAND DONE AT YEAR AGO IN MAY. I WANTED TO START GOING TO A SUPPORT GROUP BUT I HAVE NO TIME TO BECAUSE I WORK FULL TIME AND GO TO SCHOOL 4 NIGHTS A WEEK SO I DECIDED TO FIND SOMETHING ON LINE SO HERE I AM. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME FEED BACK ABOUT THE SITE?

sorry for the delay but i did not see that you asked me a question directly.
i only had to do clear liquids for 2 days prior to my surgery. after reading what others had to do i suppose i was lucky. i came thru my surgery fine and am on a full liquid diet until this wednesday yay!!
