It's actually N.M. that has the failed band group on OH. She was posting to Trish. Just click on the link in her signature line to go there.

I also have a failed band group on Facebook. Please join it also:

I just got my band in May of 2011 so I am still a newbie.  I do want to say that you are a strong and resilient woman.  You can do this and you will.  I am extremely sorry for your losses.  I just want to encourage you to get back on the wagon.  You can do it.  You have already shown that you can.  Good luck.

I hope your procedure went well.  Good luck to you.  Stay in touch and let us know how you are doing.  Nothing like a new you for the new year!!

Sharyn, glad to hear that you are doing well.  Keep drinking slow.  I know how hard that is.  I still find myself gulping and it is constant reminding.  Great to hear that you are up and walking around.  Continue to move.  I hope the visit to your surgeon went well on Friday.  Take care and keep us all updated.

I totally understand what you are saying.  I have exercised throughout the holidays, but I have also splurged a little too much.  I pray every second of the day for strength to continue this journey.  I love the results, but I know there is more to good things to come if I can just stay on track.  Good luck to you and happy New Year and new you!!

Yes, I had to have mine removed. It was "have it removed or prepare for death."
So, I chose band removal. The pain the band caused was excruciating. I felt much better after removal.

I hope you can find the motivation to keep going in the right direction. It can be done with the right support system and determination. Keep thinking positively!
Good luck, Trisha.

You might want to come over to the regular band forum as it's usually busier than this one. This one is pretty slow as you can see. We welcome all bandsters!!

Hello OH Friends,
I have once again got off track and am trying to get motivated and positive and back on track. It is alot easier said than done. I could just kick myself in the butt for letting myself get to this point! But it is time for me to take control so move over fat girl this thinner sexier body is coming back! For those strugggling with the same thing, lets help one another with any advise or support to get through this! Have a Great 2012, and May God Bless You All:)
