Meeting with Dr on Wed for possible revision...
Hi all!
I am meeting with my surgeon on Wednesday to discuss possibly revising my Lap Band to Gastric Bypass. I went for a fill Last January and the Dr discovered that my port detached itself self and in order to get another fill, they would need to operate to fix the issue; since than I have been going back and forth between discussing revision or to keep with the band. Can anyone offer any insight to what questions I should ask? Questions I might be asked.
I got my band May 2007 and lost a total of 57 pounds in the first few months but never felt much of a restriction. And even after three fills I still don't have much restriction but do have a tough time eating most meats and bread. Over the past four years I have gained and lost the same 50 pounds three times but can't seem to get past that or maintain it. I can honestly say that my exercising is a bit off and on but do walk about 2 miles three to four days a week with my son.
I have no idea what to expect and I'm a little nervous!
