What kind of revision are you thinking about?

If you are thinking of an RNY to DS revision surgery, there are only 6 surgeons in the US that do this complicated procedure.

Please start at DSFacts.com

Also, I just posted some links on this thread on the DS board today as well.....

Revision on 12/10/12
I have been researching for over a year and the ROSE procedure is not what it claims to be. I have found every surgeon you go to will be biased in favor of what they can do and what is covered by insurance not necessarily what is best for you their patient. A very good  and respected surgeon told me I would be in dipers and 85 pounds if I did a RNY to DS revision. Can it happen sure however what is % or likleyhood of this risk.

Ask questions and do not accept what the DR is tellig you is the "word of God" they are human too.
Do what is best for you.

Whit,

Wow - what your surgeon told you is one of the biggest diaper loads I've heard to date. Lemme guess, he can't do that revision, so he sold what he could. Yep.

Teresa,

Yes, I did have a revision from RNY to DS.  It is in my signature line.

The ROSE is not a good procedure.  Waste of money.
