I had VBG in 2004 and looking to get gastric bypass. I have two drs. And they quoted me a lot for it. What are typical cost?

Thank You.

This is a tough one to answer. The prices can verify greatly depending on the surgeon, hospital they are affiliated with, geographic location.

We did a surgeons search using the criteria of Sugar Land, TX, and surgery type revision.  Here is the link, review the profiles and give the surgeon's office a call for a quote. Make sure it incudes everything, pre and post op.

I'm a self pay going to MX to the same surgeon who did my lapband surgery. He is removing my band, doing RNY and removing my gallbladder for $9000.

I am curious why you would get RNY instead of the second half of the DS...the intestinal portion for malabsorbsion?
