Hmmm . . . you left too remember?  People have scattered all around to different places.  The band has also flopped big time.  Most people have them removed.  Good luck.  Use the search option.   I am sure you can find a ton of information.

I think Mary Gee is quite a good person.

I frankly wouldn't bother to answer someone who was so breathtakingly rude to HollyKim -- one of the most helpful and successful vets here.

I understand what you are saying. I tried here come back from time to time but don't seem like anyone is here or just don't answer. I have been hanging around a couple on facebook very active not saying anything bad about this one just not real active. Sometimes not to friendly like the answer you were given won't get people coming back that way. Have a good evening

Thanks C..   Where do you hang out on this site.  Where you on this post because of revision i haven't looked at your profile yet.  I am  back in 2006 when i had the lapband done i stayed on the lapband forum now im on this site because im getting a revision..  What's your story?  Im going to check out your profile.

I just went to visit your profile  i am proud of you for doing you and there is no reason other than doing this for yourself FIRST.  You can do it, and i see that you give encouraging words and compliments to others too.  You just had the revision is see did you do it all in one (removing the band and doing the sleeve at the same time).  You can do this i know you can and the best part is that we do get another chance to make a difference..

Keep me posted i love to hear success stories and i love to help if i can.

Hi Again C,  

I did post my visit to the docs today regarding my revision i think i posted on K's post im not sure im just trying to go with the flow.  Make a long story short i had lapband in 2006 (yes 10 years to this date and month)  lol  for a revision consult.  and i already made the appointment for my upper GI barium swallow to see how my esophgus is in order to make the decision if we are going to remove and do sleeve at same time.  That date is set up for January 25.  

I will keep you posted and please keep me posted on your success..  Congratulations you can do it..  i hope you post before pics so i can enjoy viewing..

I just had my egd done Friday. My Dr.told me before he wanted to do the sleeve but would not make a decision until seeing what shape the band was in. Dr said the band had not erroded into the stomach done will do the sleeve. If you have decision of the band into the stomach they have to do a bypass. I wish you well with your test you seem to have a good spirit you will do well. Everyone should be so excited about their future like yourself keep smiling.

Hi R  I have not had surgery yet I am waiting for insurance papers to be filed. I have everything done just one last nut appt on Feb 12 but all test complete. They are talking like the band will be removed when the sleeve surgery is done. It seems like it is taking forever. I usually hang out on this site on the revision or WLS forum . Just don't get lots of answers here does not seem to be real active.I hang out on Facebook vertcle site they are pretty active get lots of information there.

       I am struggling right now  over the past month my weigh has stayed the same. I seen my NUT Friday she told me my cal. Intake of 800-900 cal.a day was too low to increase O 1500 cal . She said I was depressing my metabolism be eating more I will start to loose. The first two days I increased my cal.to 1200 cal I have gained four pound. I don't know what to think plus I have problems eating the additional food. I will keep trying to tweek my diet until I start loosing again .

          Where are you at on your journey are you having a sleeve? I wish you much luck on whatever direction you take. I look thru all these sites and see all the before and after pictures it is amazing how much different people look especially the women its like seeing a catterpiller turning into a butterfly.  Write any time I always check here a few times a day have a good day
