Revision with Aetna insurance???

Anyone had a revision and had Aetna insurance?

I looked at your profile to try and answer this. In my case Aetna paid for my lapband (after an RNY) but I stress to them this was a 'fix' NOT a revision. At first they thought I wanted wls and was 'asking' for the same qualifications as a NEWLY wls person. In reading your profile, you had very little, but since you said you were banded and it NEEDS to be removed - I would think that you would be going in for a 'fix' NOT a revision... and they would cover it.
