approved for lap band 6years post op of RNY

Hi. I am new to the site. I am 6 years post op with the RNY. I just got approved to get a lap band put over it. I have slowly gained approx 30 pounds over the last few years. I was wondering has anyone had the lap band put over the gastic bypass?

Walter Lindstrom, a WLS insurance appeal attorney, had that done with good success, from what I recall. If the issue is that your stoma is too large, it's a good option. Just be advised that the band will need adjusting to get to proper restriction. Nancy 394/275/180
