Food stuck in pouch?

I am 11 days Post-Op and last night and early into the AM I was experiencing (felt like)GERD, the doctor has me on Protonix 40mg one daily. I am so worried something may get stuck in my pouch...I am on a puree diet, but I was wondering if may something was stuck and my food wasn't going down all the way, so it started to come back up. Has anyone every had "food stuck" if so what are the symptoms etc.

I am 4 weeks post op. I have been having GERD like symptoms as well. I can't keep water down and sometimes get heartburn when drinking water. My doctor told me that my pouch was swollen and I may have developed a stricture. I'll be going in Monday so my throat can be scoped. Good luck.

Ive had food that was having a hard time going thru and Ill tell you what it hurt like a MOFO.. I was sweating and felt like but it was too far down... ooo you could tell! If something gets stuck you would know it - either my hurting or everything you eat/drink comming back it!

Thanks! That makes me feel better..no hurting like a MOFO Just having such a hard time finding food that tastes good when pureed, Ibought two cookbooks but still YUCK!

My doctor said I may have that too, but I dont have insurance now so I just have to live with it. I find that certain things feel like they get stuck and then it finally just comes up and I vomit alot. I can't stand that feeling.
