The average american gains between 7lbs and 11lbs between Thanksgiving and New Years. I am definatly not average. I lost 12 lbs and 21 inches. I concentrated on staying below the 1000 mark for calories and made sure I did at least the 60 grams of protein. For January, I am going to work on getting my fat grams under control - stay between 20 and 30 and also to make sure I get to Curves 3 times a week. Because of the holiday's I was only making it twice a week. How did you all do and what are your January goals.

I was up a little after Christmas.  I usually stay between 190 and 195 but when I weighed myself at the YMCA on 12/27 I was 198.  So...I cut back on calories a little, did cardio and was back to 192 on 12/30.  Same thing happened around Halloween. As long as I can stay under 195, I eat whatever I want which is around 2300 calories.  I'd bet my cut back days are closer to my 800 calorie losing phase type diet.
