I went to O'Charley's resturant yesterday for lunch.  I noticed they had a new "grilled turkey burger" on the menu.  The nutritional stats where not on the website for this sandwich, so I emailed the company and got a very prompt answer:

910 calories---510 from fat
57g fat
16g sat fat
2.5 g trans fat

160mg cholesterol
1550mg sodium
51g total carbohydrates
3gm dietary fiber
3gm sugar
49g protein

I guess this is a lesson to prove just because something sounds healthy...

That is like Ruby Tuesday's.  They have Turkey Minis (4 small turkey burgers) and the stats are:

Turkey Minis (4):
Calories:  1058
Fat:  58
Net Carbs:  79
Fiber:  6

13 lbs was lost pre-op

Thanks for sharing the info.

I hope this will be a reminder to those who think that eating a "burger" without the bun is OK. It may be if you had DS, for most of us RNY - sounds like a "killer -dumper" choice.

If I have to order anything - grilled chicken (not chicken nuggets) or grilled fish (no breading) are only choices.  Who knows what they put in a "ground paste" to make the burgers..
