Isopure makes some jummy RTD drinks that are more fruit juice like than milky.  I like the orange peach and berry flavors.  I also enjoy the unjury powders.  The unflavored is good if you want to add your own SF syrups or frozen fruits.

Wellements ProBlend 55 Mocha Cappuccino  and vitalady.com favorite: half champion chocolate stack and half IDS vanilla-cinnamon. You can order samples of all of her protein and see if you like it.

I have found that the pre-made ones from Costco are AWESOME. It is very convenient to keep them in the cars, work, and purse. They are good room temperature but I LOVE them refrigerated now. I was changing kinds often and but I never get tired of them! I drink 3-4 a day and I had surgery 3/29.

Worldwide Pure Protien shakes are really good and you can get them at Trader Joe's.  They have 35 grams of protien each!

I use EAS low carb I get it at Sams' Club.  It has 17 grams protein and is sugar free.  I love them!

Lady Lithia-
Do you mind sharing what brand protein drinks you use? Mine are a lot more calories by the time I add the milk. (I did not like it with water.)
Thanks!!

First off, I commend you for sticking to your surgeons guidelines.  Now for my uneducated 2cents.  I don't understand why he wants you on only one shake a day with you being on such a limited diet.  My nutritionist was more concerned about getting the protein in rather than the form by which it got there.  How many grams are you able to get in and what number is your surgeon wanting you to get in?

Now to actually answer your question.  I really like GNC Whey Isolate 28 (various flavors)  I mix it with 8oz of 1/2% milk for a 36gram shake.....1-2 times a day.

I would first ask how many grams of protien you are getting a day from food??  adding the protien shake how many grams of protien are you getting??  I  get between 60-80 grams of protien and try to rarely do shakes.  They really want you to focus on getting protien from food.

My surgeon told me that right now he is happy as long as I am getting at least 60 g of protein a day from shakes...he said we will work on getting it from food later on once I can eat something besides puree...I will always get some of my protein this way...It's the easiest way to do it and it's good quality as long as you buy a good powder..I like the syntrax nectar that you mix with milk...I can't do the water ones..
