Protein bars....

I also like the pure protein bars (but obviously everyone has their own preferences..Shannon H. didn't like them..it's funny how things are like that!)  I eat only half at a time. They make a great 10 grams of protein snack (half of a bar)!

My favorite is Quest www.questproteinbar.com, then Power Crunch bar, then Atkins - check the sugar and sugar alcohols and make sure to get the ones with 15 or more grams of protein.  Detour makes a low sugar bar you can get at Vitamin Shoppe or GNC - just check the sugar alchols and these are really huge bars, where 1/2 is about the size of a normal bar.

 I love THINK THIN. They have low sugar, about 20 carbs, and 20 grams of sugar. Very tasty. I'm just starting to try some.

Check out the Supreme Protein bars. They're hands down the best bar I've ever had and you can order them in a smaller size that contains 15g protein per bar. The PB&J and Caramel Nut Crunch are my favorites!

The SMALL Supreme Protein bars are great, and I love Pure Protein too, but I only eat half, especially of the Supreme Protein ones, they make me sick if I eat a whole one. I make myself cut them in half before I start eating, because if I am eating a protein bar I am usually very hungry and have waited too long to eat!

I have tried several and my clear favorite and only one I carry now is the PermaLean.  It is sweetened with Stevia and only has 1 gram sugar.  I don't use them everyday but carry them with me on the motorcycle because they are convenient.  I rarely eat the whole thing at one time, but usually eat it in halves.  Plus it tastes delish!

I like Met-Rx protein bars. Found them @ Big Y and Walmart. One bar has 32 grams protein. It does however have 28 grams sugar alcohol...this doesn't bother me but it might bother you. It's very dense, so I usually eat it in thirds. The protein is waesome though!
