Stuffing and/or Kernel Corn at 5wks?
If it was stuck, you would know right away. If you are going to dump, you would know within 30 minutes. If you don't want to get sick, stay away from those carbs. Good luck!

Bread, ie stuffing, wasn't on my plan for 6 months. Be kind to yourself and stay way from stuff you don't need to be eating.

It's been 2hrs, so i guess I'm okay. Sorry if I offended you, Price, but soft stuffing IS on my approved food list for the 'soft' phase - it was VERY moist, and took the shape of the tablespoon when I scooped it. Also on my list of approved foods: cooked broccoli, carrots, apples (raw) green beans and asparagus (among other foods that don't come to mind when you say the word "soft".). I have a lot of confusion about what exactly I'm supposed to be eating - the stuffing was certainly "softer" than the braised chicken breast! LOL Speaking of which, the stuffing didn't bother me a bit, but I'm really hit or miss when it comes to chicken - sometimes it's fine, sometimes I'm in the bathroom sick almost immediately. So I am really flying without a net here, I'm not trying to cheat, or take ANY chances with ending up back in the hospital - TRUST ME on that!
My bad. Sorry.
It does just show that everyone's Plan is very different. We still can't have corn and I am over 7 months. Have I had corn, yes, in soup or somewhere I couldn't avoid it but not to sit down and eat corn.
Our "soft" veggies were all cooked and raw came later.
I could eat dark meat chicken, cooked in a crock pot before baked chicken breast.
I had to change some of my healthy thinking (raw or lightly cooked veggies, baked low fat meat) to be able to eat the first months. But now can tolerate anything I have tried, I just don't try anything really dangerous (fried chicken, birthday cake, etc.)

I can have bread too, I'm just supposed to toast it to heck and put something on it (marg, NSA jam, etc) on it to keep it moist. A few people in my group also suggest toasting it.
It sounds to me like they just need to come out and say they have NO IDEA what we can and can't eat! Since it varies SO WIDELY from one person to another, even from one day to another. I have never been so confused in my life.

Such a small amount is probably not a problem (such a small amount of almost anything is probably not a problem), but even on my surgeon's very liberal post-op eating plan, corn was one of the LAST food items added back in because it is so hard to digest (even with a normal digestive system).
