Need recipes!!
I'm on stage 4 of my food plan. Now I can eat food of any texture but I'm still restricted to a very small list of food. Here's what I can have:
Meats:
turkey
chicken
fish
shellfish
Dairy:
cottage cheese
yogurt (carbmasters or greek only)
sour cream
low fat cheese
eggs
Veggies - must be cooked:
asparagus
beets (don't like)
carrots
green beans
spinach
turnip greens
mushrooms (not veg but a side)
tomatoes (don't like)
Goal is 400-600 calories a day. I try for 200 or less per meal. I'm supposed to get at least 20 grams of protein at each meal. It's suggested that I get 3 oz of a meat then veggies if there's room. No eating between meals and only 3 meals.
I can have sf jello and Popsicles though I'm burned out on both. I got some sf jello pudding to help get my meds down. I only eat a couple tablespoons of it a day so I don't count it for my daily calorie intake.
I've been successful so far but I'm getting bored. I've eaten ALOT of tuna and salmon. I made turkey chili that was good. I just picked the beans out.
So any ideas to mix things up? When I get to 3 months I can add a bunch more veggies including salads. Until then, this is what I've got.
Thanks!!
