OT: THIS ISN'T A DATING SITE,IS IT?
OK, so this morning I go in to update my nut stats and weight and such. I get an email in my OH inbox from a woman who says she wants me to send her my photo and email address so we can talk and become friends and build a RELATIONSHIP built on trust and some other crap. WTH? Her name is [email protected] or something close. I did not allow her to be my friend and I am afraid she is a scammer or maybe a virus. Just a warning!!!

There's this ridiculous new "profession" people who are a year or two out from their surgery, self-proclaim themselves to be "life coaches" and first they friend you, then they let you know what type of job they have, and tell you how awesome it is and how much it has helped others to maintain and be successful at weight loss, and next thing you know they're getting you to pay them to coach you to do what you already get coached to do for free by coming and posting here. They're one of the new leeches on this society that I don't much care for. (yeah, I know, life coaches out there will likely block and/or slam me for this)
There's also creepazoid guys who love to prey on women with low-self-esteem..... not everyone who is overweight fits that category of course (not me by a long shot!) but some are that way,a nd they want an "easy lay" and/or a woman who will support them and take care of them. Scum of the universe.

Having said that, I'd be surprised if there weren't a fair amount of hookups from this site. It would make some sense. You have a group of people with similar experiences, WLS does shake up a lot of existing relationships, and ...well ..getting healthy leads to a higher libido.
