Bariatric Multi Vitamins PreOp

Maybe a dumb question or I may be off base but, anyone switch from their usual multi vitamin to their Bariatric Multi Vitamin a week or so before their surgery?  I'm thinking the Bariatic vitamin is the way to go vs. my normal Centrum Silver.  I'm not considering taking the B12, Calicum or Iron supplements before surgery.

My surgeon had us start on the bariatric vitamins around a month before surgery.  I was given B12 shots at the office.  I even took them the day of my surgery per the doctors request.
