I met my summer class last night for the first time. I'm getting all hard assed about attendance so I made them sign a slip saying they understood the attendance policy. The pen I sent around with it was from the Centennial Center for the Treatment of Obesity - where I had surgery. Not something I really want to discuss with my class. I'm not sure if anybody noticed and I guess it really doesn't matter but ...

I've had my clients sign things with a "Plan B" product pen. Don't sweat it too much - likely they didnt even notice it. (though this makes me think that if Viagra had a new product pen, it should be in the shape of a penis, right? ha ha ha)

I'm confident no-one paid attention to the pen! If they did pay attention they probably thought nothing of it...I see pens with writing on them all the time and its one eye and out the other...lol.

I really hope they didn't notice. I'm NOT ashamed of having this surgery but I really don't want the people who are going to spend the next 8 weeks staring at my ass to be thinking about it shrinking!!

I'd be willing to bet they didn't notice the pen ... and as far as them staring at your ass for 8 weeks and thinking about it shrinking .... Well, it WILL be shrinking and over 8 weeks they ARE going to notice. Isn't that a good thing? Be proud of yourself, not embarrassed!

I was kind of hoping that over 8 weeks, they wouldn't notice! I told the class I was teaching when I had surgery. I'd already gotten to know them and I needed them to understand what was going on when I needed more than one break during class. But these people I don't know and well ....

We'll see. Hopefully it won't come up. Hopefully they'll be polite enough not to say anything if they do notice.

I doubt they noticed the pen. But they likely will notice if you lose a lot of weight.
