How long, post op, were you allowed to eat string cheese.  I've just come out of the full liquid diet to purreed food diet.  Cheese is allowed and I would assume sting cheese would be as well but chew well first. Any input is appreciated.  Thanks.

I ate string cheese at the pureed/soft foods stage. I also loved the 35 calorie Laughing Cow cheese wedges. They are super creamy and easy to eat!

There have been days that all I could stomach was a 1/2 piece of sting cheese at a time.  I get the lowfat kind just to keep my system happy.  Just remember cheese can make it hard to go to the bathroom so get your benefiber or miralax in too.

String cheese may have saved my sanity some days!
