I feel your pain.  I struggle getting my fluids in.  I don't think I have hit 50 yet.

I am sure you will hear this but stalls do happen to everyone at some point lasting different lengths of times.

Just keep working your plan, maybe mix up a few things to change up your body getting used to the same things and it will work itself out.

No need for a butt whippin yet  (unless your into that LOL )    (just kidding)

I get mine in by doing 20 oz between each meal.  Early out, it had to be warm like hot tea or decaf but I can do some cold stuff now.  I just don't eat until I have my 20 oz in.  Works for me.

5 hrs is a long time for anyone to go without a sip of anything & that's valuable "liquid real-estate time"..... Can you ask your prof for a break to drink a little periodically? Maybe have your surgeon write a letter stating it's medically necessary for you to drink every so hours.....

I do good to get in 20 oz. Even before the surgery, I hardly ever drank anything. I know that it is critical to my success to get tha****er in, but for the life of me, I just can't seem to do it. Essentially, I just don't think about it during the day... AT ALL.

We had surgery at the same time and I am maybe getting in 40 oz a day. This has been a big improvement and I'm actually proud of that. I think it probably takes time to get used to drinking that much. I am trying to slowly work my way up to 60 oz.

Kat,
I'm proud of you. 40 is amazing and having 60 for a goal is wonderful. I know/knew you could do it.
Hugs,
Lana
