What's your favorite protein shake brand? How do you make it?
What other high protein snacks do you recommend to someone who is doing full liquids? What about to someone on pureed foods?

Asking people's fav protein shake brand is like, asking someones favorite color...you'll get 20 different answers and even then you may not find any of them to YOUR taste. Your bet bet is to order a bunch of samples from Vitalady or BA and see what you like and what you don't. You can also try any of the brands from GNC or Vitamin Shoppe as they have pretty good return policies. But I would start with the samples first.

Again, how people make their shakes also varies. The World According to Eggface has some good recipes to jazz up your shakes, as does Nik's site Bariatric Foodie. Some people mix with all water, some with half water and half milk, some people use soy or rice milk instead. It's all in what you find you like and can tolerate.

Full liquids: strained cream soups (like mushroom and chicken), any and all flavors of SF Jell-O, SF popsicles, yogurt (I like Dannon Light and Fit and Chobani Champions Very Berry).

Puree: Ricotta cheese. Mix it with splenda and a drop of vanilla extract for a sweet treat, mix it with tomato sauce and shredded mozz for a faux-lasagna. Refried beans mixed w/shredded cheddar cheese, Hormel chili with beans blended down, egg salad blended down, tuna salad blended down, chicken salad blended down, seafood salad blended down

The lean dessert chocolate coconut is good but I only have it occasionally due to calorie count...my new fav is syntrax nectar roadside lemonade mixed with SF lemon berry kool-aid....ice cold :) I look forward to trying the twisted cherry...good luck!

I'm sitting here drinking a slush made with Roadside Lemonade and Lemon Berry Kool-aid.  You've got good taste lol.

The twisted cherry is awesome with the Lemon-Lime Hawaiian Punch packets.  Tastes just like a Cherry Limeade.

OP, you really need to try samples of everything.  What I like you may hate.  I drink Syntrax Nectar in Twisted Cherry and Roadside Lemonade.  I also use the BSN Lean Dessert Cinnamon Roll as a treat, but because of the calorie count I don't do it that often.  I like Iso Pure Dutch chocolate in a glass of milk with a little bit of SF Hershey's syrup too.  Those are probably my go-to shakes.  I also keep a container of Now Foods Unflavored protein.  I put a scoop in a dish every morning and just add pinches of it here and there in my food until it is gone.  It's an easy way to get in an extra 25g of protein.

I usually drink an Isopure for breakfast. It's super nasty but I can choke it down, lol. I rotate Isopure, greek yogurt and a gnc brand shake. All are nasty. As for the rest of my day, uhhh .... meat! I eat an obscene amount of chicken and Boca burgers are my new fav.

I really enjoy the Z-pro Shakes that I get from my nutrionist you can also get it on the internet.  Just type in  R-Kane Products .com .  I am enjoying their juices w/protein and chocolate/vanilla shakes.  Delicious.  I get them through my dietien but I think if you call them they will tell you where you can get them.  -Holly

GNC Pro Performance 100% Whey (All Flavors Except Berry)

Make it with milk and a bit of SF pudding.  I am a big fan of adding stuff but don't reccomend it because of the calories, something I struggle to get based on my training needs.

Pureed foods I would say greek yogurt with sf pudding mix and splenda, Ricotta, Refried Beans, Cottage cheese.  I pretty much lived on that for like 4 or 5 months, because of complications.
