So I am experimenting more with shakes since I am getting tired of my old stand bys!  This morning I really wanted a choc/pb one-I found a recipe but wonder if any of you have a better one!

Mine was:

4oz skim milk

2oz water

1 scoop chocolate protein

1 tlbs peanut butter

1 pkg spenda

ice cubes

Your shake sounds yummy! Some advice, if you want it (or not).

Check out PB2 or Google "powdered peanuts." Peanut butter is one of those things I try not to put in shakes because it is so much higher in fat than in protein. One tablespoon of PB has 8.5g of fat but only 3.5g of protein. Powdered peanut is basically the byproduct of pressing peanuts for the oil. It is a flour like substance that you can put in shakes and tastes like peanut butter when blended into things. It has about 90% less fat and about the same amount of protein.

I know that this is an older post, however I am currently looking for a chocolate and peanut butter protein powder. It is my favorite "fat" flavor, however I am not going to baskin robbins and buy a quart of this ice cream or a peanut butter twix. I know there has to be one out there somewhere.

i ordered a bunch of samples from vitalady right after my surgery and there were a bunch i liked but i never got around to ordering a tub and now all my little baggies are long gone. i did buy the muscle milk light one and don't like it. what i usually do is just make a regular chocolate shake and add the davinci sf peanut butter syrup. it's not totally the same but its not bad either
