OT: prayers please

Please keep my sister and brother-in-law in your prayers. They lost everything in a fire yesterday at 6 am. They were at work and were notified that their house was on fire. They went home to find their whole life gone. I spent yesterday taking Harley to get dental surgery, then spent the rest of the day at my sisters watching their life finish burning. Al and I are going over tomorrow to help start cleaning up. Dumpster got their this afternoon while we were there. They are staying with different family members.

They lost everything. My sister had a severe anxiety attack when arriving on scene and had to be treated by ambulance personnel with oxygen. They had had their home 12 years. They are thinking it was probably electrical but was called "undetermined cause". The house was built in 1876.

How awful. My thoughts and prayers are with them and your family.

 I will pray for them.

Oh, I'm so very sorry to hear about this. Please remind them, though, that they did not lose everything. THEY are both still here. I know it's difficult to replace a lifetime worth of "stuff" but you can never replace one another.

So glad the puppy found its way to the deck and got out safely. How awful to loose everything. Praying for your sister and her husband.

I am so very sorry to hear about their loss, thank God they are still here and can rebuild their lives together......prayers to you and your family.
