I did not eat raw fruits and vegetables until 6 months post-op. I did not introduce corn, potatoes, whole grain crackers, bread, tortillas and pasta until 8 months post-op. Everyone has different recommendations from their surgeon's office. I just wanted to take things slow. I did eat steamed vegetables and pureed no sugar frozen fruit from 3-6 months post-op.

I'm five weeks out and love eating watermelon (watch the seeds though). Definitely avoid corn - even normal stomachs don't digest it very well!

I think i was around 9 months out when I did both.  My surgery was september so none that year... the following summer I'm sure.

right now at nearly 2 years out I'm living on cottage cheee and watermelon so it does come back!

Corn is on the no-no list for 6 months.
Watermelon is a go! Easy on the pouch. The only thing is, I bought the already cut up pieces, and the first day...all good.
The next day, they had sat in the juices and the sugars fermented? I ate one piece and got that, dont you dare eat another piece, feeling.

Watermelon, like others I was just a few months out.  Corn, I had again this summer - so I waited over a year - but had no issues at all.
