P28 Bread?

Hey with stats like that bread has, I feel comfortable saying "to each his own."

I will tell you though that I haven't met a pouch yet that could do more than about a half a slice at a time unless eating the bread by itself. Even mine, the Wonder Pouch. It's FILLING. Thankfully, it has enough protein where that's ok though.

I bought a loaf of p28 and have tried it twice.....once for french toast and once for a sandwich (toasted). The french toast went down okay but I can't say the same for the sandwich. I have been sick since I ate it yesterday afternoon and I only had half of one slice. It is VERY heavy and hard to digest.

There are some local gyms or health food stores that carry them. You can find the information on the P28 website. It is a bit more expensive per loaf but it saves you money opposed to buying 4 loaves.

Call around to health food stores in your area to see if any of them carry it.
I got one slice to try from a friend who bought some...     I am SO glad I did not buy any!

You might want to try this Lavash bread-also on the Netrition site.  You can also find it in some grocery stores.  Some Stop and Shop stores sell it in CT.  It is soft and not dry at all.  I love it and at 50 calories for half (it is a good sized half) with 5 grams of protein, only 7 carbs and 3 grams of fiber it is good all around.

I have been buying sprouted grain bread.  I think that brand is Food for Life.  It has four grams of protien per slice but it is really good.  They have cinnamon raisin and sandwich breads and English muffins.  And it is a low gluten product.  I love it.  It is about $5 per loaf and I find it in the freezer section of my local grocery, by the organic stuff.

I liked it until I didn't. It turned on me 1/2 way through the loaf. It would become like cement in my stomach.
Sad too because it has great stats.

I LOVE P28 protein bread!  However, I did find it spongy so I toasted it VERY dark, and that made it must more appealing.  My wonder pouch was able to  (gasp) eat an entire slice!  LOL.  I also buy it from Netrition.com.
