Thank you all for prepping me for my 1st stall!!!
I just want to say thanks to all of you who consistantly answer us new folks when we have our first stall. I am 7 weeks out and finally hit my first one. I have to say thanks to all of the advice I have read : ranging from through the damn scale out, to dont worry you will come out of it, I feel just fine. No panic, no worry, I just know I will succeed as long as I keep using my tool the way I am supposed to! So Thanks for all of the "pre" advice. Thanks to all of you I am in a good place........of course this time next week when the scale has no moved I will be posting again wondering if it will ever end!!! Just kidding!!!
A stall is about the most unnerving, but once you get past one, a calm
settles in. Your body will get you where it will, your will, will get you
past that, and the rest is gravy. At almost 80 lbs lost I've surpassed
all my goals- diabetes buh bye, cholesterol meds gone, BP- normal
down from a 22/24 to size 12 in 8 months and never gonna shop
in plus-size again-
so if I don't lose another ounce or size, I am living my dream. I'm
healthy and lucky to be living each day. It's all perspective my friend.
The stall will pass and you will see the scale move to new places.
Be patient and proud of where you are and what you've done.
I think of stalls now as a chance to rest my body and take time
to reflect on the changes I've made and the ones yet to come.
Good luck and good work!
