So yesterday I went shopping with my friend (5 hours of walking around = tons of calories burned!) and I picked up a few pair of size 12 pants, as my next size down. After I did a load of laundry & was putting up our clothes with my husband, I started to freak out b/c I thought I'd left the pants somewhere, they weren't in the load I did! DH started to look for them and found them hanging on his side of the closet - - THEY WERE SO SMALL HE THOUGHT THEY WERE HIS PANTS!!!!! I nearly died of laughter & joy

Non Scale Victory - something that has nothing to do with the numbers on the scale, but signifies an exciting new change as a result of our weight loss/journey to get healthy.

For instance: The ability to cross our legs or do a 5 mile bike ride.

WOW you are doing so good!  I have surgery two weeks before you and have lost 75 lbs.  Do you exercise a lot?  What are things you normally eat?

I do exercise a bit, but always could do more..... usually speed walking a few times a week. I eat very high protein (75g+) and low carb (b/w 30-50g) and average b/w 600-900cal. My weight loss is total 95lbs but only 55of that is postop.

I bet that was a great feeling! It's the small things sometimes that count! As in small pants!
