You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Weight loss is still possible in the second year, just at a slower rate.

Yes, it is possible. A select few post ops lose all of their wt at around 6 months, but this is by far the minority. Most post ops take 12-18 months or so to get to their lowest wt. But, this lowest wt may "regulate" in coming months, with a small rebound wt of 15-20 pounds. It took me 24 months to get to my lowest wt. 100 pounds lost in 7 months, and the remaining 50+ pounds for the next 17 months. Lowest wt was 186, and then I bounced back to around 210-212. But even at 5 years post op now, I'm now down to 198-200 pounds again. I'm riding my new bike almost daily, 4-5 miles. I use it for trips to the post office, and ride it to the market (1 mile away) 1-2 times a week. Don't try to minimize calories, or else that may be defeating wt loss. I attend more than one support group per month, and that may help you too. DAVE

It's hard to say how many calories you should be eating because I don't know how much you weigh now or how active you are or anything else that factors into that. You're probably just having a stall.

I kept losing but much more slowly.... first it was 160 then 155... and that was around January 2011... I went for plastic surgery consults with several doctors and was told I had no more weight to lose that it was skin (it can look like fat depending on how it lays.. mine looked much like fat to me and when removed weighed 5 pounds but dropped me from a size 10 to a loose size 6... so two sizes)
This morning at just under 2 years out I weighed 137 so have lost about 30 more pounds over the last year...
It is important to keep following your plan. I still log my food about 5 days a week to make sure I'm hitting requirements.
