Thank you!  Yes, it really has been an amazing experience doing it as a family. The hard part was my youngest son was 15 when he came to me and wanted the surgery.  Due to insurance requirements, he couldn't have it until he was 18.  So in the meantime I had surgery and my daughter had surgery.  I think it was hard for him watching us lose weight when he was the one who wanted it so badly.  I hadn't really considered it until he brought it up and wanted to look into it.  I did a bunch of research and decided it was for me!  The other two kids just made the decision after seeing me lose weight that they wanted to do it to.

As far as the kids after surgery they do seem to recover very quickly!!  I was back to work after 3 weeks but I was tired during the day once I went back to work.  The boys seemed to bounce back the quickest and lose the fastest.  It hasn't even been a year yet and they have lost 185 and 175 lbs respectively so they lost at an incredibly fast rate.

Take care,
Nan

Thank you!!  It really is nice to see the kids so happy after seeing them sad for so many years.  Just the name calling and stuff they went through as teens being obese and now seeing them with such confidence is a prayer answered!
