I am really happy at the weight I am at right now but I would like to lose about 10 more pounds to make up for the "bounce back" weight. I have not lost anything for at least 2 months and keep going up and down 2 pounds.
So my questions are

Did you hve bounce back weight?
What do you do to keep losing?
What was your calorie count?
Did you exercise?

I eat 1200 calories a day around 75-100g of protien and workout 3 times a weeks. Oh and I have been eating carbs.

It will be 2 years Nov 11.  Stopped losing in Feb or so. I'm just under overweight in the "normal" zone.  No bounce back so far.  Dont' count calories.  I've been doing a lot of bike riding through the spring and summer.  Trying to figure out what to do for the winter as I'm not a gym/workout person...  but I'm a bit interested in running - well, closer to jogging actually - or distance walking.

I eat carbs too - but protein first is still my main rule.  Drink lots of fluids - but don't attempt to count how much.

Good luck!

Kill the unhealthy carbs! I am a carb addict, so I just don't let myself go there.

I have been in maintenance for several months at goal, no bounce back weight so far. I work at keeping my weight within a three pound margin, so I weigh daily and adjust accordingly. I eat 1200 or so calories a day, 100+ grams of protein, and run 5 miles a day. I keep my regimen as simple as I can.

Of course we are all different with different requirements, so you will need to experiment to find what works for you.

I'm just over two years out now and still do not have any bounce back weight.  I don't lose anything without trying though either. My calorie count at a year out was about 1000. I now eat about 1150 - 1300 per day. I don't exercise as much as I was, and would really like to get back into it. Life got in the way. LOL. I do walk a lot, run on occasion, go kayaking/rafting, hiking, ride bikes etc. so it's not like I sit on my almost non-existant butt all day long. Watch the bad carb thing!

I'm just a few weeks behind you.
No bounce back weight as of yet but I would welcome it at this point.  I am over 35lbs below my first goal and 18lbs under my final goal.  I wanted to go a little below my goal but not this much.
Counting calories was making me crazy so I stopped for now.  Last I counted I was averaging about 1300 to 1600 a day.  I keep adding protein and healthy fat a little bit at a time to get where I am stable.  Still losing at this point.
No real formal exercise although I did discover that I love riding my bike.  I try to ride about 30 minutes a day at the least, some days 2 hours or more.  It's the only activity that I have found that I enjoy and don't feel like it's a chore.
My biggest advice for losing?  Stay away from refined carbs.  I can't seem to gain weight now that I don't eat them.  When I was eating them I could gain at astronomical rates.  I have been known to gain 10lbs a month when I was out of control with refined carbs such as sugar and bread.  Even before WLS I found I could lose weight and maintain fairly easily if I didn't mess with them.  I eat plenty of healthy carbs such as fruits, vegetables, dairy and whole grains, just nothing with sugar and wheat.  No cravings at all when I don't toy with them.

I am 2 1/2 years out and I lost a total of 160 lbs.  I got down to 138 and people told me I looked 'too thin'.  I liked being right around 140.  I was determined I would not get the 'bounce back' weight but guess what, I did....now I am in the 150's and I don't like it.  I know exactly WHY I had some weight creep back on and it is because I started eating way too many carbs.

It gets so much easier the farther you are out to add unhealthy carbs into your diet.  I wish I never had because I am a carb addict.

What I need to do to lose the bounce back weight is to cut out all the bad carbs from my diet (pretzels, white pasta, white bread, etc).  It's easier said than done once you start eating them again.

I do exercise.  The first year out I was totally committed to my eating plan and didn't eat bad carbs, and I exercised a lot.  I did a body sculpting class at least 4 times a week and walked several times a week.  Then, I went about 8 months without exercising other than walking once in a while.  That, combined with the unhealhty carbs I was eathing, is why I had the bounce back.
