Finally got a surgery date!

I am so excited that I finally got a surgery date!! Feb. 13th!! I cannot wait to start on this new journey! You all have given me so much to look forward to!!

What a present you are going to give yourself.  I'm 3 and a half months out and 70 pounds lighter, and I feel so good.  I will give you some information though.  Make sure you take the time to research everything about the surgery from the actual surgery  to what you will need post-op. Then educate yourself as to what your needs are and will be, as well as any products and/or things that will make your journey more meaningful.  I did this and felt so prepared that when I started the liquid diet I had no issues with it.

Wow 70 lbs. in 3 1/2 mos.-that's awesome!! Congrats to you!!  I try to read everything I can when I can. The liquid diet does have me a bit anxious but I know I can do it! I heard the first 3 mos. are the most difficult.
