I am getting very bored with my current breakfast routine of either Greek yogurt or low carb bread with fresh ground peanut butter. What do you guys do for a high protein but low carb breakfast? I wish I liked eggs because I know that would be an obvious option, but I have despised eggs since is was a kid. Any suggestions are greatly appriectated :) thanks

I'm allergic to eggs so I can relate with needing ideas from time to time. I've been making a shake with protein powder, coconut milk, and a small handful of blueberries.
Going to start making my own protein bars as well.
What about a sf egg custard? At least you wouldn't have the egg taste then. You could even add in a bit of protein powder to up the protein.
I've seen a few recipes for protein bread too. The cinnamon one looked like it might be tasty and filling!

I like scrambled egg whites, a bit of cheese, some diced lean ham or Canadian bacon, and some salsa. Have you tried just egg whites? Some people that don't like eggs can deal with just the whites.

If you go to the store and get jimmy dean d- lights breakfast muffin. It has egg whites, turkey sausage and cheese on a whole wheat english muffin.  It is frozen so you can take the egg white off and then after it is cooked only eat half of the english muffin.  If you put mustard on it, it is yummy.

Also you can take a low carb muffin mix add blueberrys and protein powder that is vanilla flavored.  Bake and it is good!

I started out trying to eat "breakfast" foods in the am then I just got sick of trying to think of things so now I eat anything I feel like!  Who says you need to have breakfast food right?

I have had turkey sausage and peppers, cottage cheese and saltines, black beans with shredded cheese....etc....

pizza chips..take what ever pizza toppings you like, chop them up quite small...i have used pepperoni, turkey pepperoni, beef crumbles, italian sausage crumbles, onions..ham & pineapple i like hawaiian pizza..anyhow chop things up nice and small...add different cheeses...italain seasoning, garlic & oregano...in small amounts, one time i added too much....mix this all up, place globs of this mixture onto parchment paper sprayed with olive oil...melt in the oven, we like the crisper ones around the edges...my hubby likes to dip them in pizza sauce..i have ate them cold..its like pizza with out the crust...
i have ate steak that was left over, i have used lots of left overs for breakfast..but i also have the standard scrambled eggs or eggs and toast....
hope this helps

This is what I make. I feel that it is high in calories, 340 but it has 64 g of protien. If you are using it as a meal it should be ok (Nik helped me determine this yesterday)So here it is
1/2 cup of skim, 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries, 1/2 cup of chobani french vanilla yogurt and one scoop of your protien mix, I use vanilla. I also add 4 ice cubes but you could add more or less for thickness. To cut down on some calories I was going to eliminate the yogurt and have that as breakfast then the shake for lunch or whatever you would decide. Good luck.

With rare exception, I'm just not a breakfast eater.  Never have been.  So, what I do is still begin my day with a protein shake.  The one I use has 50 grams of protein, so I feel that I am getting a great start to my day with regard to protein intake.

In weekends, if I go out to breakfast with my hubby, I skip the drink.
