Does anyone make their own protein bars?

I googled protein bar recipes, but most of them seem to be fairly high in carbs, or at least higher in carbs than I am willing to go with. I have tried some quest protein bars, they are just a little expensive for me and i don't really like that I can only order them online, plus they are so dense! I really like the power crunch bars, but I know they don't really have enough protein for the amount of calories. So I was thinking I could try and make my own using my protein powder, but I don't really know where to start in trying to come up with a recipe. Any ideas? Thanks in advance :)

I make protein cookies.  I make gluten free, sugar free oatmeal cookies that I found on Bariatric Foodie only I don't add raisins.  I add 1/4 cup sugar free chocolate chips and 4 scoops of unflavored protein powder.  I add a little milk if it's too dry.  It makes about 12 big cookies and I think it's close to 10 grams of protein each.  I just don't like things with fruit in it.

I make them for my husband. They're a little higher in calories than I want so I'm still pondering for me.
For him I use 1/3 c coconut oil, 1/4 c milk/cream, 2tbsp sf davincis, 1 c protein powder, 1/2 c cocoa powder (i use a couple tbsp), and 2/3 c dry milk powder. Mix that well then I add a handful of chopped nuts and 3/4 c unsweetened coconut. Press into a loaf pan lined with saran wrap and chill.

For me the other day I made some protein drops. 2 tbsp butter (out of coconut oil) 2 tbsp natural peanut butter, sprinkle of stevia, and one scoop protein powder. I dropped them by teaspoons onto a plate and once they were frozen stored them in a baggie in the freezer. It made like 20 drops and were great when I wanted a little sweet. They don't travel all that great though since they get soft.

If you come up with a good one please share!!

Thanks everyone for you responses. I have been experimenting today so we will see how it went tomorrow I suppose. First I mixed equal parts (by weight) of pb and protein powder with some torani sf syrup and then I divided it up in an ice cube tray and then stuck it in the freezer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed lol
