 Aww :) thank you! I have my diet & exercise class tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that. I'm just on a preop until I lose 20 lbs. need my psych eval my endoscopy and my NUT eval. I'm waiting for ins approval. Once those things are done hopefully I'll get my date!

The purpose of the pre-op diet is to shrink your (fatty) liver.  You need to eat low fat. That would eliminate the burger and chinese food.  The shamrock shake is probably high in fat as well as sugar.  Sugar is going to continue/increase your cravings.  If you need to eat then you should eat low calorie raw veggies (lettuce, green peppers, cucumbers,  celery) or some lean meat (protein).

 Thank you, :) I appreciate the advice and those things are just what I'm eating but I'm craving junk food. I wrote it out to recognize my craving and hold myself accountable and to get some support. I will not be eating any of these things but they are unfortunately on my mind :-/.

I am 2 months out. 

I totally understand.  I could ROLL in a big tub of chips from On the Border.  Also we had hamburgers and french fries at work today (a residential facility).  I ate the meat without the bun but I had to give the fries to someone to put on the other side of the table.  I was about to stroke out with them on my plate.

I want to indulge with a nice big unhealthy meal, but I am SO DISAPPOINTED that I only lost 3.5lbs this week...for the first week of my pre-op diet.  I must lose 20 pounds before I can get my date.  I think I'll indulge after I pass the 20lb mark.  I can't decide on Olive Garden, pasta, breaksticks, and salad...or Sushi......
