As for your last question, avocados sit with me just fine, but I have to watch my portions. Too much and I'll have diarrhea. I had a 1/4 of a small avocado on a quesadilla I made last night, and it was heaven. But not more than that for me.
Typical meals:
Breakfast - I usually have an Atkins shake first thing in the morning, then go do my errands and gym.
Second breakfast - Some kind of protein, usually some greek yogurt or a hardboiled egg.
Lunch - Because I'm lazy, I'll usually just eat the meat portion out of a Lean Cuisine frozen meal, and a few bites of the veggies (I save the rest for my snack). I feed the carbs to my dog. Salisbury steak is my favorite.
Other times, I'll have leftovers from dinner the night before.
Snack - remainder of my lunch veggies, sometimes a string or babybel cheese, sometimes a protein bar or some cottage cheese.
Dinner - I eat a wide variety of things for dinner--chicken sausages, meatballs, turkey dogs, meatloaf, roast chicken or turkey and gravy, quesadillas, scrambled eggs....
I usually pair dinner with a few spoonfuls of broccoli or spinach.
And then for dessert, if I want it, I'll have a SF pudding cup or a Sweet Indulgence ice cream cone. But I find I rarely want dessert anymore.
