Soon, you will not be!  Start with walking and keep on building your strenghth. (  I have neurophy from diabetes.............I can't feel my left foot at all and my right foot is pretty numb).  I will be waiting for your post a few months from now stating you just finish your first spinning class.

I have spin classes that have guys that are probably 3 bills taking spin classes.

You get out of spin what you put in.

my brother is a spin instructer in NJ somewhere but he is the family. I am lucky I can walk somedays.  Severe arthritis and unbearable hip and pain down the leg these days.  I worked out during the first year while losing weight but thank goodness I dont need to do it anymore.

Enjoy your classes and do one for me

My good friend LOVES spinning. I remember a couple of years ago I thought I was in good shape. I was running on the treadmill, doing an booty and abs class plus a rebound class. The gym was my friend and I felt I was doing well............then I went to her spin class with her. OMG it was sooooooo hard and I thought I was going to die half into it. I never felt so out of shape in my entire life!
The weird thing is that I loved doing my rebound class. I had the same friend go with me once and she nearly died and hated it and thought it was too hard. I find it fun and it doesn't feel like exercise to me.
Weird how that works isn't it?  I'm glad you found a class you like, I wont be going back to it!

Spinning is absolutely a GREAT workout...I used to spin all the time when I was trying to lose weight a few years ago. I would go 4 times a week, but due to a back injury I had to stop. I can't weight to start up again :) Keep up the good work and you will soon be addicted!!!

Can't wait to start in two weeks. My surgeon gave me the all clear to start in two weeks. A new place just opened up in my town. I grabbed a Groupon for $39 for 10 classes and can't wait to go. Used to LOVE it. Hope to again
