It's been forever since I've posted. My surgery was May 2011 almost a year. I really must get a real pic on here. Anyway, I am at goal of 135. I feel great. I'm loving clothes shopping but I spend too much because everything I try on fits! As for exercise, I've always been envious of runners, don't know why, maybe because they look like they are so relaxed yet getting exercise, maybe because they are thin. Last November I had my gallbladder out, was tied up for about a month with a drain, but in December I decided to start running. I started with 30 seconds of running and gradually increased my time. I now run 35 minutes straight and I'm currently working on increasing my speed. Sorry to ramble, I'm just excited. Also next month I am going to be on a local morning TV show with my surgeon, LIVE! I sure hope they have a 30 second delay like the superbowl LOL. Thanks for listening!

That is awesome!  I too discovered a love for running a few years ago.  I am jealous when I see people out running and I can't be there too!

Finding exercise you love is important because then you'll keep doing it!

Congrats on the running and the tv interview.  I've been on tv several times, a word of advice, take a little bit of vaseline and coat your lips and front teeth.  Very light!  If your mouth gets dry from nervousness, you'll want that bit of moisture.  Believe me, this from a gal who was so dry mouthed that I ran my tongue over my teeth and they caught it on camera.  Boy, did I look dumb!   lol  Never did that again!  Other than that little bump in the road, I always found being on tv to be kinda fun!  So relax and enjoy!  You've earned the recognition!

Congrats on becoming a Runner.  I am working on this as well. I go for about .4 of a mile about 3 days a week.  I am working my way up to more time and distance.
