I hear the machinery working...

...shortly after I begin to drink my protein shake or take in other nourishment or even drinking water...

Does his happen to anyone else? While strange sounding, I'm thinking that it's a good thing in that the stuff I'm taking in is being processed. 

Though, I'm sure that it must mean that I'm doing something wrong...

Yup, every time.  Gurgle, slosh, AHOOOOGA!  I've never heard so much noise in my life and then once it hits the other end, fawgettaboutit. 

Yes, that happens to me all the time. It's happening right now while I'm drinking some water. I wonder will it ever stop.

I haven't had that yet, but I do seem to hear my stomach a lot more! lol  Especially in the morning when it's empty.  It's growling at me saying (imitating the venus fly trap in Little Shop of Horrors) "Feeedddd me Suzanne!"

 At four years out, I still have the strange sounds from time to time.  Once, it was so loud, it picked up on the recording I was making!  Had to erase and re -record a whole section!

Nope, doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong.
I just had a protein shake and I'm gurgling.

OMG my husband and I were giggling about this a week or so after surgery.  I just could not believe so much noise could come from such a little pouch.  I'm lactose intolerant and I got ahold of the wrong protein shake.  Oh boy you should have heard it then.  It gurgled so loud the noise actually woke me up pain medicine and all...crazy!
