Its been a long hard road!
Hi all! Sorry its been so long since I have been on. I had surgery RNY on April 30th. I came home 3 days later and returned to the hospital that evening. I ended up with a bowel blockage. Went back to surgery the next day. Two days later I ended up with another bowel blockage and a perforated bowel. To surgery I went again. I woke up this time on the ventilator in ICU. Good news is that I am now home (after 21 days in the hospital). I am on a feeding tube and can have nothing to eat or drink by mouth. I have the 2 JP drains in still. Home health nurses come in 3 days a week to check on me. I am getting stronger. I go to see the doc tomorrow morning. I am hoping he will at least take one of these drains out. I miss you all and hope everyone else has had uncomplicated surgeries!! I am down about 20 pounds since surgery. Again, sorry it took me so long to update everyone!

If I could reach out and hug you I would! I was so worried about you. I was posting here and sent you messages! Wow sounds like you have been to heck and back! I am so glad your on the losers bench seated hopefully comfortably and not in any more pain. THANK GOD Cathy I am so glad your back here on the boards. I missed you!
