did I gain weight or what?
142. Last time I weighed myself, I was 136. I know I'm always telling people it's normal for your weight to fluctuate a little but mine normally fluctuates between 134-135-136. Not to 142.
Then I thought, maybe it was the IV fluids when I had my nerve block done yesterday. Except I wasn't on an IV for very long,
Then I thought, maybe I am retaining water. I feel sort of bloated. I've had more salt than usual lately, so maybe that's it. Can you tell I really want there to be a reason, other than I've eaten too many treats lately?
So just now I went to the bathroom and while I was in there, decided to get on the scale again. I don't know why. Hoping it would say 136 again, even though it said 142 just a few hours ago? Yeah, right.
So I got on the scale. It didn't say anything. Didn't turn on. I stepped off, then got back on. It came on, and said 0.0. Obviously that's not right. So then I'm thinking, hey, maybe it said 142 earlier because something is wrong with it! Yeah, that's it.
I tried one more time, though. 141. Now I'm going to stop obsessing, until tomorrow, when I should have peed out any extra fluids from the IV.
And today I am eating protein and veggies. No treats.

I had to giggle at all of your "justifications". I try those too. Usually the culprit for me is too much open mouth insert goodies!

And how come there are no size B batteries? There is AAA, AA, then C and D. Why'd they leave out the B?

Before there were "chips", or even transistors, there were devices called vaccuum tubes which performed the same functions. In order to operate, tubes required two voltages: a low voltage to operate the "filament", or "heater", which generated heat necessary for the tube to operate, and a high voltage which actually did the work.
The low voltage battery in portable radios was called the "A" battery. The high voltage battery was called the "B" battery.
You can't find B batteries anymore because there is no need for them. So
there you have it!
