HCG injections are made from pregnant womens urine. Unfortunately their is no "quick fix" to losing weight and more importantly keeping it off. It takes a lot of dedication, knowledge, effort and determination to make lifestyle changes. The best way to be successful is to learn about yourself emotionally in concert with nutritional and physical lifestyle changes that you can live with for the rest of your life.

It's been the latest fad diet around here in the last 6 months. People at work have tried it and lost quite a bit of weight only to gain it back again once they stop. I think you eat only 500 calories a day and mostly vegetables. Hard to live that way for life thus the regain when you start eating normal again. Plus you can't take these shots forever.

just another fad. men aren't meant to have pregnancy hormone injected in them - neither are women for that matter. it's a silly concept in my opinion.

My sister has been on and off the Hcg shot thing. It is made from pregnant mares urine and some from pregnant women. She loses weight for a while then has gained it back quickly when she stopped. She is "on" now but has changed to the holistic, synthesized version. She also takes a myriad of herbal supplements....not necessarily vitamins or protein. She has a bigger history than I trying many fad diets with little success.
Her husband doesn't even want to discuss surgical options. Maybe he will change his mind when he sees me this summer.
