Why you SHOULDN'T worry about the scale!
So, I got on the scale on Sunday, and it TOLD me I weighed 2 pounds more than I did last week! What the h*ll is this? I said to myself... ok... breathe... it's got to be water weight, nothings changed... Now, I started out wearing size 30 or 32 jeans depending on the cut... managed to get down to size 26 so far... HOWEVER, a year (or so ago) I had bought a bunch of size 24 jeans at a clearance sale... some RocaWear, BabyPhat... CUTE jeans! Haven't been able to get into them to save my soul... not even wearing my beloved Spanx... Yesterday I was wearing my size 26 capri jeans... talk about baggy! I didn't need to undo them to use the restroom! Soooooo.... ( I know I'm making this into a long story! SORRY!) this morning I said to myself... Self... we're gonna try a pair of those 24's on... damn the scale and what it says... I don't want to wear baggy jeans today and I'm not in the mood for the Spanx either... So I grabbed a pair of jeans and put them on... ok... they fit in the reat and the thighs... but the button isn't wear it should be... I layed on the bed... I grabbed the table and did squats... I laid back on the bed... I pulled and I tugged and FINALLY I got the button buttoned and the zipper zipped!!!!! Soooooooooo.... the moral of this story is... just because the scale hasn't moved doesn't mean you haven't lost some inches!
