Kelly,

Your knowledge of all the vitamins and nutrients is amazing.  I am in awe of you and am very appreciative of your knowledge and sharing.

Hi Kelly
I took chewables (Celebrate), then swallowables that I split with a splitter, and now I'm back to chewables. The switches were done for logistical reasons, as I traveled extensively during the first 7 months post surgery.  I haven't seen any differences in my labs with either multi, and my labs have been great with the exception of iron and protein.  I bumped up the iron and get 100 g of protein a day, and both iron and protein were better in the last set of labs.

I take no chewables at all.  My b12 is sublingual.

The only things I've had to struggle with are my iron and my protein, and I just adjust dosages if those come in low.  Last two check have been fine though.

I have primarily used chewable Centrum and/or Centrum Silver (sometimes Celebrate chewables), but have also periodically used regular Centrum as well (either as my second daily dose (as I am doing now) or as both doses when I have gotten tired of the chewables).  No change in my labs at all (my only deficiency has been Vit K... Although my D was very low before surgery, it has been fine since we got it up to normal after surgery).

My surgeon doesn't check copper and I don't remember seeing a result for B6, either. I only remember seeing thiamine, niacin, b12, and folic acid (I can never remember which of the folic acid and biotin is B7 and which is B9, but could look it up, of course, if I really cared).  She usually checks Vitamin A but it wasn't  on this last set for some reason.

My Vit K is still an issue (I decided on my own to get some 1000 unit K1 capsules from Michelle and try that before I give in to my PCP's suggestion for injections), and I just started taking an iron supplement because it had been slowly but consistently dropping each year. Everything else is in the middle to upper portion of the range.  (When I saw my surgeon a month or so ago for a combination 6-month check after the additional surgery last August and an early 5-year followup, she joked about putting my lab sheet up on the wall to show people where she wants their numbers to be (but using white-out on the Vit K level, LOL.))

i'm still on chewables.  Everything has been ok that is in those.  Recently added some iron which I hadn't taken at all before but it was trending down.
